Started as a UI Designer specializing in Design Systems, I gradually transitioned into a broader Product Design role. As the sole designer in a cross-functional team, I collaborate closely with stakeholders, PMs, developers, and data analysts to shape and drive product initiatives from discovery to delivery.

• Built and maintained a scalable design system to support fast-moving messaging product development, in close collaboration with engineers and fellow designers
• Drove product discovery efforts by working cross-functionally with stakeholders, PMs, and tech leads to understand user communication needs and pain points
• Used Al to accelerate ideation and design for messaging features, ensuring speed without compromising usability or quality

One of the key people in maintaining, scaling, and optimizing PayMongo's design system based on data and the needs of our users and stakeholders. Aside from that, I also design high-fidelity mockups that have a consistent user interface, are usable, and intuitive.

As the Design System Expert, I am the main person who looks after the scalability of designs from a User Interface perspective, closely working with researchers, designers, and developers. Aside from the design system, I also do a lot of hands-on UI work, from turning sketches and flows into mockups to supporting the implementation of the designs.
